Stratford Richardson YMCA
Volunteers will assist with traditional day camp activities, games and crafts or choose one of our Themed/Specialty Camps where you can share your passion for science, super heroes, fairy tales and more! The volunteer will assist in creating a fun, safe and engaging summer camp experience. Tasks may include helping with breakfast and lunch distribution, engaging with campers during activities, assisting during transitions between sessions, and providing general support to staff as needed. Volunteers will be paired with a specific camp group or rotate based on daily needs. Volunteers are limited to a maximum of 4 hours of volunteer service per day.
To help our participants enrich their Spirit, Mind and Body through the activity offerings taking place during the program.

Please note, all volunteers must fully complete all training videos and have their reference checks and background check verified before they may begin their volunteer work at the YMCA. Volunteer backgrounds can take up to 1-2 weeks to return complete. If you have questions on this, please contact us at volunteer@ymcacharlotte.org. Volunteers are limited to a maximum of 4 hours of volunteer service per day for volunteers ages 12-17.
All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to not be counted as an absence for your volunteer service.
