***PLEASE NOTE - This program takes place at the Hemby Program Center (9760 Happy Valley Drive). Minimum Age: 14+. The Hemby Program Center/Camp Eagle Rock hosts summer camps each week, Monday through Friday. Volunteers will assist Adventure Camp staff to create a fun and safe environment with multiple tasks throughout their time at Hemby Camp/Camp Eagle Rock, including a variety of camp activities, including arts and crafts, sports, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises. Morning and afternoon shifts available. Registration & Scheduling: 1. A volunteer should register for only the shifts they know they can work 2. A volunteer cannot register for more than three (3) shifts per week of camp. 3. Any scheduling conflicts that arise during the week(s) will be managed by the Brace staff. Additional Details: *Volunteers should bring items to keep them safe in the outdoor heat; including, but not limited to, re-fillable water bottle, sunscreen, snack. *Summer Camp volunteers receive a complimentary yellow Volunteer T-Shirt and are asked to wear it during their shift(s). *Volunteers need to ensure they are checked in/out of each shift.
