Morrison YMCA
Volunteers will assist with traditional day camp, helping with preparing and executing activities, including games, camper engagement, arts & crafts, and logistics. Areas that volunteers may be assigned: Preschool, Dance, Gymnastics, Sports, Traditional Day Camp, STEAM, and YKids. We encourage our volunteers to dedicate to an entire week if possible to minimize orientation time. There is a good variety of shift times and dates available to fit your schedule. The shift length has also been done so that you may select two in a row to accommodate your schedule.

Please note, all volunteers must attend an in-person orientation. These dates will be available by 4/30 to be able to sign up. Volunteers must also have their reference checks and background check verified before they may begin their volunteer work at the YMCA. Volunteer backgrounds can take up to 1-2 weeks to return complete. If you have questions on this, please contact us at volunteer@ymcacharlotte.org. Volunteers under the age of 18 are limited to a maximum of 4 volunteer hours in one day.
