YMCA Camp Boomerang is an immersive summer day camp for children with diverse abilities held at our YMCA Hemby Center. Volunteers at our Camp Boomerang will assist help create a fun, safe and inclusive environment for campers of all abilities. They will assist with a variety of camp activities, including arts and crafts, sports, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises. Volunteers may also support campers with diverse needs, ensuring they are engaged and included in all aspects of the camp experience. Their role is essential for fostering a positive and enriching atmosphere where every child can grow in confidence, make new friends and enjoy the magic of summer camp at the Y.
