Make a difference in your community through Leaders’ Club, a year-long leadership development program for middle and high school teens. Leaders’ Club provides extensive leadership training and volunteer opportunities that support YMCA programs and services to the community. The program is open to teens between the ages of 13-18, and participants must be within this age range by May 31st of the school year they are participating in. In addition to learning leadership skills through service, Leaders’ Club advisors introduce teens to all the work the Y does to strengthen the community, and inspires and prepares teens to become future Y leaders. Leaders’ Club programs meet weekly in the evening and participants are required to complete a certain amount of community service hours through volunteer opportunities at the YMCA. In addition to weekly meetings, club members will have the opportunity to attend fun trips, social outings, trainings, and rallies including a week long trip to Blue Ridge Leaders' School. This project is for our Leaders Club to track their service hours at the YMCA and outside of the YMCA.
