Join us for a festive day of fun, fitness, and community spirit a the Harris YMCA Krueger Reindeer Romp! We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this holiday-themed event a success. Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles throughout the morning, including course monitors, water station helpers, kids obstacle course assistance and more. McCrorey YMCA
Join us at the McCrorey YMCA for Operation So Fresh & So Clean on Saturday, May 2 from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM! Volunteers will help spruce up our YMCA campus through light cleaning, organizing, and beautification projects to create a welcoming space for our members and community. This is a great opportunity for individuals or groups to make an immediate, visible impact while supporting the Y’s mission. All supplies will be provided—just bring your energy and willingness to help!

Run! Ballantyne celebrates healthy competition while giving back to the community. The race benefits the YMCA Annual Campaign and kids in need. Your participation supports life-changing Y programs that inspire young potential and promote academic success. Volunteers will assist with this fundraising event in a variety of ways, including (but not limited to) registration/packet-pickup, course monitoring, water stop and start/finish line assistance. *The race will be held at The Amp Ballantyne in the Ballantyne Corporate Park 11115 Upper Avenue Charlotte, NC 28277*

The YMCA of Greater Charlotte, in partnership with Nourish Up, is dedicated to addressing food insecurity in our community through Pop-up Food Share events. These events are an opportunity to make a tangible impact by helping distribute food to families in need. Event Overview: At each Pop-up Food Share, volunteers will assist with organizing and distributing food to local families in a drive-thru format. Volunteers will help with: Unpacking large food donations Sorting and packaging food into individual boxes Handing out food to cars as they pass through the line Event Details: Locations: Rotating between 7 YMCA centers across the region Days/Times: Every other Monday and every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to Noon Duration: Shifts are 2 hours long Activity: Volunteers will help setup the pop-up food share and build the boxes of food to be distributed to families through the drive thru line. Ideal Volunteer Groups: Groups of 20 or fewer volunteers are ideal for these events. This is a great team-building opportunity, perfect for corporate groups, community organizations, or family teams.
